Hey :)
I remember I was reading a fic perhaps about... 2 months ago now? it was a WIP progress at the time, and I sadly lost track of it. It involved an accident on the underground, which both Andy and the twins (maybe just one twin?) were involved in, and Andy was staying with the twin until help arrived. When I left off, the twins were looking for 'Andy', who Miranda assumed was a man, and it seemed like Andy and Miranda were about to meet in the next chapter. Does this ring any bells with anyone? Hope so =)

On the story search bandwagon...I don't remember the name of the story or who penned it.
And I don't know if what I remember is from two separate stories or not and it's not much that I remember. I THINK it was a story told via 'headlines' (may be a few of those)...the one I'm looking for I think at the end there was a pic of Miranda in the outfit at the end of the film when Andrea was across the street... I'm not sure if it was an interview or just commentary on what she was wearing but I think it said something like 'bow to me bitches' or something along those lines.
Anyone remember this...

Since, because of real life stress, I kind of forgot I was taking part in this year's secret santa, I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to be my emergency beta? The story's not too long, I expect it will be about 5000 words, it's Mirandy and rated NC-17. I basically just need someone to read through it, make sure all the grammar's present and correct and nothing's too craptastic.

This is bugging me because I could have sworn it was by Telanu, but I can't find it on her page. It's basically an AU taking place during the '20s where Andy's a dancing girl who goes by the name of 'Sheba Sachs', and Miranda becomes her secret admirer, dressing up in drag and sitting in the back of the club to watch Andy. I just really want to read it again. Thanks.

Prologue
This was it. She was finally going back, going back to live in the same city as her. To breath the same air, walk the same streets, hell she was going back to live in the same street! She didn’t quite know what to expect, what to hope for. Should she hope to run into her again or should she hope for the opposite?
She sighed. This wasn’t good. She wasn’t even on the plane back yet and she was already feeling more confused and lost than she had in years. Suddenly there was a comforting hand on her shoulder and even though the touch was light it did just that: it comforted her. She looked up into and smiled a genuine smile at the older women. Her savior who helped her out in her time of need for so many times she’d lost count.
“Are you sure you’re up for this?” The older women asked concerned.
Andy nodded. Sure she was confused, but that was the one thing she was sure about. It was time to return to New York, to be with her friends, to accept the incredible opportunities that lie ahead and, she thought while looking at the sleeping little girl in her lap, to raise her daughter in the city where she herself had changed and grown so much.

I read this amazing story about a year ago. But for the life of me I can't remember the name of it.
I remember that Andy owned a bookstore, I think she inherited it from her grandma. And one of the twins always visited her after school. And I also remember that Andy could draw really well.

Hey all- I realise in the initial posting that I said there would be two parts, and here is the second. However, it's running on a little longer than originally planned, so there will be a third and final installment which I will title 'epilogue' for the sake of maintaining the pretence that I knew what I was doing when I started this.
